An Art and Craft Exhibition will be held at the Old Gaol Community Museum with displays of embroidery and needlework with examples of heirloom lacework. “An Exhibition of Gentle Arts’ presented by the Bridgetown Historical Society with admission a gold coin donation to assist in the preservation of the gaol and future historical exhibits. Hours are from 10am until 2pm at the Old Gaol in Hampton Street Bridgetown, every Saturday and over the Easter Break.

Manjimup Birthday Centenary Celebration

Centenary Celebration will be held at the Town Hall Manjimup this evening with tickets available at Roses Gifts in Giblett Street. Tickets are $20 per person with tables of 10 available. BYO drinks and supper, alcohol permitted, with tea and coffee provided. Doors open at 7pm with music and dancing from 8pm til late presented by the Mellotones. Bridgetown Theatre’s latest production Murder at Checkmate Manor is supposedly being staged by the entirely fictitious 'Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society' and is a disaster from start to finish. Evening performances start at 8 pm, with two matinee performances starting at 2 pm on Sunday, May 9 and Saturday May 15. Murder Mystery at Yornup

The Yornup Purity League invite you to join us as we try to solve a murder at a Murder Mystery Evening on Saturday 22nd May at Nelsons Motel. There will be complimentary wine tasting at 6pm and at 6.30pm your host will welcome you and give a briefing on the events of the evening. At 7pm there will be a three-course meal and the Murder Mystery will begin.We request you wear 1920’s costumes to add to the atmosphere of the evening.
